Wondering what type of water you have? These test strips can tell you whether your water is soft, hard, or in between. Just dip them in a sample of your water, and the test strip will tell you a range of hardness for your water.
How best to wash your diapers depends on your water type. If you have soft water, you will want to use a mild detergent- and not very much of it. If your water is hard, you may need to add Calgon Water Softener to your washes. You may be able to find out your water type from your city's utility company, but as the water passes through pipes to your faucets, it can pick up minerals along the way.
